On October 18, 2013 at the P.A.T.H. sponsored Human Trafficking Community Awareness Event held at the Wesleyan Church of Hamburg, sex trafficking survivor Amber was the first recipient to be awarded a grant from the P.A.T.H. Survivor Support Fund. Amber shared her compelling story of how she was lured and victimized by traffickers and how her vulnerability made her easy prey. She spoke of how faith based organizations helped in her healing and restoration and she is now attending a community college and working toward regaining custody of her children.
